New User Email Notification
If you are a new uses in the Hudson Contractor Zone, you will receive an email to your nominated email address, which will include the URL of the portal as well as instructions on how to set up your password. This will need to be done before you can log into and access your portal.
The email will contain:
- a user ID (the Username to be entered when logging in)
- a link to set up a password
- a link to the portal URL
Clicking on the password setup link will open a new browser window, where the password and security questions are set up.
Set Your Password
To set a new user password:

Enter the New Password, ensuring that it meets the password requirements listed at the top of the screen.

Re-enter the password in the Confirm New Password field.

Select two security questions from the drop-down lists.

Enter the answer to each question in the Answer fields. These answers are not case-sensitive.
- Click Set Password.
Once a password is set, you will be returned to their login screen, where you can enter your username and password to access your portal.
Password and Security Question Requirements
The password requirements that display when setting up a password are based on the portal password settings.
If a password does not meet the listed criteria, it will be flagged as invalid and cannot be saved. You will need to enter a different password, ensuring that all criteria are met.
The Security Question and Answer fields must all be filled in, with two different questions set. Incomplete fields or repeated questions will be flagged by the system.
