Overview
You can manage your 2FA settings from your user profile. Depending on how your 2FA has been configured, you may see a number of options.
Link new device for 2FA | Change the device you use to verify yourself. This option will only appear if you authenticate using an app. |
Change phone number registered for 2FA | Change the mobile number you use to receive authentication codes. This option will only appear if you authenticate using SMS. |
Register new back-up email address | Change the email address you have linked to 2FA. This option will appear regardless of the authentication method that you use. |
Linking a New Device for 2FA
To link a new device for 2FA:
- Go to Profile > Security Settings > Link new device for 2FA.

Enter the six-digit code from the authentication app on your current device > Next.

Scan the QR code with your new device or enter the Secret key manually into the app.

Enter the code from the authentication on the new app into your portal > Next.
You’ll receive an on-screen confirmation when the new device has been successfully linked.
Changing the Phone Number Registered for 2FA
To update the mobile number linked to 2FA:

Go to Profile > Security Settings > Change phone number registered for 2FA

Enter the SMS verification code sent to your current mobile number > Next.

Enter both the current mobile number and the new mobile number, ensuring that they are formatted correctly and include the Australian prefix (+61).

Enter the SMS verification code sent to your new mobile number > Next. Once this is updated, future authentication codes will be sent to the new number.
- Click ‘Continue to access the portal’ to return to your portal Dashboard.
Register a New Backup Email Address
To register a different backup email address:
- Go to Profile > Security Settings > Register new back-up email address.

Enter the code from the notification that you receive via email into the ‘Enter code’ field and click Next.

Enter both your current backup email address and the new email address, then click Next. If both email addresses are valid and correctly formatted, you will be advised that the update was successful.
- Click ‘Continue to access the portal’.
