I have injured myself at work, what do I do?
Step 1 Inform your onsite supervisor immediately
Step 2 Once you have ensured you are safe and don’t require immediate medical attention:
Inform your Hudson Consultant of your injury
Complete the injury report form
Email the completed form to safety@hudson.com
The Safety Team will be in contact if there are any further steps
I have injured myself whilst working from home, what do I do?
Step 1 Inform your host employer supervisor as soon as possible
Step 2 Once you have ensured you are safe and don’t require immediate medical attention:
Inform your Hudson Consultant of your injury
Complete the injury report form
Email the completed form to safety@hudson.com
The Safety Team will be in contact if there are any further steps
I have injured myself on my way to/ from work, what do I do?
Step 1 Ensure you are safe and do not require immediate medical attention
Step 2 Inform both your Hudson Consultant and your host employer as soon as possible
Step 3 If you live in Queensland, you are required to:
Complete the injury report form
Email the completed form to safety@hudson.com
The safety team will be in contact if there are any further steps
If you do not live in Queensland, you are only required to complete steps 1 & 2. Claims for injuries incurred on a journey to or from work can only be made in Queensland.
I have injured myself, but I don’t think it is too serious, should I still complete an injury report form?
Yes, any injury that occurs whilst working needs to be reported, regardless of how serious it is.
Step 1 Inform your host employer supervisor and Hudson Consultant as soon as possible
Step 2 Complete the injury report form and then email the form to safety@hudson.com
